Cider in the Spotlight: The Bearded Brewery & Friends

Last week, we delivered cider to festivals all across the UK, from Ashton in Makerfield to the foot of Snowdonia. And while the festivals were brilliant, this week we want to raise a glass to the cider makers behind the pints.

Between six major events, including a huge 140 BiB delivery to Keswick, we shipped cider from some of the UK’s finest craft producers. That included:

🍎 18 boxes from The Bearded Brewery

🍐 20 from Mr Whitehead’s Cider

🍏 10 from SeaCider

🍎 21 from Farmer Jims

🍐 22 from Snailsbank

🍏 14 from Pulp

⭐ Producer in the Spotlight: The Bearded Brewery (Cornwall)
Few cider brands capture the spirit of craft quite like The Bearded Brewery. Founded by Rob and Mark, two friends who met in detention back in 1992, this Cornwall-based cidery mixes no-frills authenticity with big personality and biker-style branding.

Before turning to cider, Rob and Mark were lumberjacks. Then travellers. Then brewers. Today, they craft award-winning ciders from their site in St Mawgan, with outposts in Mawgan Porth, Newquay, and St Agnes.

Every drop of cider (and spirit) is brewed on site. Their taproom and bottle shop are open to the public, with plenty of space for groups, events, and good times. If you’re ever in Cornwall – it’s a must-visit.

Their flavours range from bold and strong to smooth and sessionable, all with a distinct attitude and identity. Whether you’re a CAMRA regular or just cider-curious, Bearded Brewery’s products always make an impression.

At Fetch The Drinks, we’re proud to champion small producers like this and help get their cider into festivals, pubs, and homes across the UK. So next time you raise a glass, have a think about the journey behind the pint. It’s made by people, not factories.
