    This is Hallets sweet cider which is made from a blend of cider apples and sweetened by keeved cider. Keeving is a French method of producing very sweet juice and not many cider makers in the UK go to the trouble of doing this. It’s what makes their sweet cider special.

    Hallets PX Cider is a blend of standard cider apples. The cider has been fermented and then matured in PX Sherry casks to give it a slightly sweet flavour but still on the medium scale and retaining the apple flavour. It is a limited edition cider.

    They make their cider by blending juice from apples all grown locally in the farms orchards. The cider is fermented in wooden barrels and sold draught from the wood.

    Hecks farmhouse cider is one of the few cider farms to still to use the old traditional methods of cider making.

    They have recently won prizes at the: Camra’s National Champion Cider and Perry Competition’s, Royal Bathe and West Show, Devon County Agricultural Association and many other local produce events.

    The Hunt family have been making cider in Paignton, South Devon, since 1805.  This cider has been carefully made by Richard Hunt, an 8th generation cider maker, using his grandfather’s press installed in 1952.  Today, the family can now be found at Yalberton, but are still harvesting apples from the orchards that have nestled in the same quiet valley for more than 200 years.

    Wobbler is a medium cider packed with bitter sweet and bitter sharp cider apples.  This tannic Devon cider is deep in taste and long on flavour.
