In the autumn of 2001 Gwynt Y Ddraig made their first few barrels of cider on the home farm in Llantwit Fardre, South Wales. What started as a hobbyist’s experiment quickly became much more serious and an expanded selection of draught and oak-matured bottled ciders followed – each refined over time. The apples are picked and pressed by hand so the result is some of the finest traditional ciders available.
Produced from bittersweet cider apples blended with a true sharp cider apple, it is a light straw coloured cider with a medium dry, smooth, crisp, slightly sharp characteristic. Contains sulphites.

The Hunt family have been making cider in Paignton, South Devon, since 1805. This cider has been carefully made by Richard Hunt, an 8th generation cider maker, using his grandfather’s press installed in 1952. Today, the family can now be found at Yalberton, but are still harvesting apples from the orchards that have nestled in the same quiet valley for more than 200 years.
Wobbler is a medium cider packed with bitter sweet and bitter sharp cider apples. This tannic Devon cider is deep in taste and long on flavour.

As people got more and more excited by the cider, Paul started to get serious! Paul cares about cider and he cares about his farm. If you visit you can ask him to see the orchard your Gasping Goose came from or to see the oldest perry tree on the farm.
